All NV at IMPs, you hold:

AJxxx

AKxxx

x

KQ

And this is the auction (whether you like it or not):

With RHO dealing:

(1) - 2 - (2) - 3

(P) - 4 - (5) - P

(P) - X - All Pass

What's your lead? (There is a small bet riding on this btw :))

Normal lead is the K (or H). If there is a bet something not normal is expected by one of the parties.

Leading a spade might be worth it if I can get partner a ruff.

Leading a diamond could be right if partner has the Ace and I can get two diamond ruffs.

Leading a club could be right if I can take away a ruff from dummy.

It's important to know:

- Who are my opponents?

- What is 3 from partner?

It doesn't sound like RHO can ruff hearts, but LHO might. I would hate to see my spade disappearing on diamonds, but that can happen only if RHO has 0/1. Can he be 11 cards in hearts and clubs? No. So a spade lead can give a trick away.

I lead KH, or whichever asks for a count signal from partner.

As it was, Declarer has 2 small spades, and Dummy has Qxx. Dummy has a heart void also and the AKJ, the only way to beat the hand is a spade lead. My partner thought that a heart was a normal lead, but I kinda felt that I should have found the spade lead.
