akhare
1♠ in a limited openings system. Would be leery of opening it 1♠ in a standard system unless pard is used to such openings...
skjaeran
If you have a bid to show a 2 suiter, then clearly you use that. Else I would open 2S. If I have a bid showing 5-4+ or 5-5 I'd not use it with a 6-card major. 2♠ is also a misbid IMO, the hand has far too much potential for that. I might open this 4♠ (or 1♠). whereagles
4♠ Hate missing games. Me too. It's definitely either 1 or 4 for me, depending on the mood.
kenrexford
[hv=n=saq9haj43da92cq76&s=skjt764h9d3ca9843]133|200|[/hv] Well, for those opening 2 or 3 you get to play 4♠. For those opening 1♠ or 4♠ you'll probably wind up in 6♠. 1♠-2♣3♣-3♠ ...mess of guesses and strained bids... -6♠ Lead. Play clubs right. Down. Oh well.
