cloa513
Opening 1♣ implies 1♥ 10+ HCP 4+♥ generally two suit (does not deny five or more spades) or 5 ♥ with suit quality hand responses: 1♦ little strength or little fit, 1♥ no fit and strength, 1♠/2♣/2♦ 3 card or more fit and strength 2 honours in given suit, 1NT fit with weak hand say two kings.Similar for 1♦ but denies 4♥More later 1♥ is the flat strong or self supporting long minor with 1♠ as standby bid, 1NT as strength and/or length in both majors say 6-9 HCP1♠ is the fragment long minor (I would say a weak four card major is not a suit) can be quite strong 1 NT is 12-14 flat hand can contain 5 card major/minor
ninja89
I've seen a system like this before, though opening 1♣ guaranteed 5♥, opening 1♦ guaranteed 5♠ - both unlimited - and 1♥ opener was precision-style, 16+ without 5M. Can't remember what 1♠ showed exactly, or what responses to these openings showed. It's an interesting system, but has definitely been used before.
