mtvesuvius
All Vulnerable at MPs you hold: Q752QJ64397AQ Partner deals and opens a 13-15 1NT: 1NT - (P) - 2♣ - (X)P - (P) - ? What are your agreements here, what is partner's pass? (At the time we had it as no ♣ stop and denied a 4cM)What do you evaluate this hand as now, GF or Invitational? What's your bid? I assume everyone agrees with 2♣... Correct?
kfay
Justin had a post about this in his blog that I liked. 1N-(2)-X- P- No stopper. Then responder XXs as restayman, and opener responds with the major he doesn’t have (remember who the rightside is!). If opener has no major he responds 2 as usual. If responder does not redouble he’s showing a garbage stayman hand type. XX- Business, at least 4 very good clubs. Other bids- Normal Stayman responses and promise a club stop. skjaeran
I assume everyone agrees with 2♣... Correct? No, I'd transfer to 2♥ and rebid 2♠, showing 4-5 and exactly an invite. Unless partner super accepts the transfer, which gets us to 4♥.

ghow
Is there an upside or downside to playing pass shows a stopper rather than denies as per? QUOTE (Justin Lall)1N-(2)-X- P- No stopper. the hog
What is the X of 2C? Most players i know play the X as showing a penalty X of NTs agains a NT opening of this strength. (Treating a 13-15 NT as weak). Against a strong NT it should have a different meaning.
whereagles
I'll just bid 2♥ now, assuming that's natural with some 5-4. It's an underbid, but if pard can't raise this, I don't think 4 makes.
