Personal comments on players' profiles

Hi,

 

why when I write personal comments on a player's profile it remains the same ... for years, while there are some players to whom I cannot put any comment, as it will disappear as soon as I logoff and login on BBO, by "refreshing" their profile to its previous status (i.e. without MY comments)? Did anybody else notice this strange bug (if it's a bug and not my fault))

Only time I see Notes disappear is when I'm partnering someone (which sucks, since I often have specific agreements written there and it makes no sense to black them out if I'm allowed/encouraged to look at my own CC as I am on BBO.)

I have noticed this behaviour.

 

I was informed by Uday in a previous post here somewhere that it is a consequence of a limited capacity for such notes.

 

In my case I encountered the problems becasue, as a tournament director iI put notes on players who were rude/left/stalled, etc.

 

Eventually I found notes would not display on some profiles (generally it seemed to affect those players with IDs starting with Z,Y,X, etc.).

 

I adopted keeping these records in a database on my PC, and using shorthand for the notes I DO have in profiles.

 

Tricky situation as you have to try and find all the players you HAVE profiles notes about and delete them in order to create new notes.
