6C for me, partner produces 2 aces and out, easy game.

Looks like one of those decks where everyone is making a lot, so even if 6C doesnt make, it should be a good sac (ps. I'm bidding 7 if partner doesnt double a slam by LHO and praying partner doesnt have a non trump ace)

I only have 12 points including a singleton king, but the club suit is very good, so I will upgrade and open 1.

The clubs aren't that good it is a broken sequence.

I might pass ...

but the last time I tried that with a 10-bagger

well you can say I am still waiting for the bidding to get back to me :)

OK, so it would seem that the common consensus is to open 1.

1.

1 - (1) - 2 - (Pass)

?

2.

1 - (4) - 5 - (Pass)

?

On the first auction I would bid 4, which seems natural to me, though maybe the scientists disagree.

On your second auction 6 seems very obvious.

I figured 6 was obvious on the 2nd one, but on the first, I'm not sure what's best... I just figured I'd take advantage of an interesting hand to give a few sample auctions... How about this one?

1 - (2) - 3 - (P)

?

This hand is proof positive that FP systems rule :P...
