Note censored?

As a rule of thumb, if it wouldn't be censored by broadcast TV, it shouldn't be censored by BBO.

That statement, you mean? Yes it looks like, especially in the context of the entire post, you believe what you say is fact.

I suppose that Fred could always keep the site free of charge from the start but as soon as you transgress, then your annual fee goes up by a dollar. You still get warned, chastised or removed but with each contrary step, Fred makes a bit more thus ensuring that those that are happy with the situation as it is will continue to enjoy the freebie.

Just an opinion. :)

I'm so sick of fants.

The rules of this site, which are probably unread by the majority of the membership, clearly state playing on this site should be seen as a privilege, not as a right. If someone grants me the privilege of using his property, whatever it may be, e.g. "you may use my mountain cabin this weekend" I would feel compelled to abide by whatever rules come attached to that privilege, e. g. "but you can't take your dogs". Obviously you don't see it that way.

Chas,

How do you get from the quote you cited to the opinion you expressed?

Regardless, you're wrong. As I stated in my original post, Fred can make whatever rules he damn well pleases. And I can gripe about them, because it's a free country. And he can ignore my gripes or react to them or embrace them or whatever.

If your opinion is that no user of BBO should ever express any opinion about (or critical of) BBO policies simply because BBO is free, you're wrong about that too. Let me know if that's the case and I'd be happy to debate that point.
