Your partner opens, the opps are silent:

1 2

3 3

4 4NT

6NT

You never played a tournement with your partner before, but you are confident that 3 showed extras and that he obviously did not understood 4 NT as blackwood.

Anyway, you are in an interesting contract.

The lead is the ten of hearts, running to your queen.

Your plan?

If you decide to play a club now, you will see the jack from your rho.

And now?

I'd cash a second heart at trick two, then if all follow cross to dummy and play another one. It seems unlikely that LHO would lead a heart from either 10x or K109x.

If hearts turn out to be 5-1, I'll probably need clubs 3-3, because I've messed up most of my squeeze chances.

I don't think it can be right to play on clubs... unless they are 3-3, we almost certainly can't recover from losing a club trick... our communications are a nightmare. Admittedly, playing on hearts riskd going down quickly when an opp gratefully wins two tricks, with clubs maybe 3-3 all along, but that strikes me as relatively unlikely for the reason given by gnasher.
