Trinidad
Very easy pass. We can't make 4♠. They probably can't make 4♦. But the probability that they will go down in 4♦ is not so high that I want to risk doubling them into game. Rik
whereagles
I'll try 4♠. Has chances if pard happens to have an half-decent suit, say, KQT9xxxxxxxxx
P_Marlowe
Pass. Depends obviously on your agreements with regardsto preempts. You have 3 tricks for partner, the 3rd club may or may not materialize before they got their 4 tricks.Usually partner promises to go down at most 3, which means, if you bid 4S, you are pretty sure, that -1 is theexpected result. And if they should double you double dummy, because youare -2/-3, they have a fair chance to get it in the given seq. Phil
Pass. I'd double at MPs.
jdonn
I pass, and would only double one certain person I won't name because debates have shown what his/her 4♦ bids here look like.
