We have enough oil. What we need is to stop using it so much so that people like Hugo Chávez or some Arabs don't use its money to create havoc in the world.

Our oil problems are all due to the Hoot-Smalley Act that was signed by Franklin Roosevelt while President Hoover was not paying attention. At first blush this may sound wacko but after you learn more about it, and have three martinis, it all makes sense. Also it is all caused by the Christians who have re-established the Inquisition.

What is the use in worrying so about the end of oil when the U.S. is so desperately short of F-22 fighter jets with which we will shoot down all those Soviet Migs crisscrossing the skies of Minnesota - after all, you can see Russia from some homes in Alaska - and add to that the woeful missile-shield underprotection of Poland from that vast Iranian missile fleet and you simply spit on the worries of peak oil.
