kgr
[hv=d=w&v=n&s=sqtxxxxhxxdxxcaxx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv](1♥)-3♣!-(3♥)-???Partner's 3♣ is an intermediate jump, around 10 to 15 pts and mostly a 6 card ♣. Normally he will not have 4 cards ♠ (2♣ by partner would have shown 4 card ♠ and better/longer ♣'s).You play all DBL's as info, but do you have enough?Should 3♠ be forcing here?...What do you bid now? Free
Hmmm intermediate? That's more like wide ranging for no good reason (what is 2♣ followed by 3♣?). 3♠ should be forcing. I'd pass, but am not too happy about it. 3♠ might turn out great however.
kenrexford
3♠ for me.
hanp
3S NF.
Double !
3♠, NF or F. I have Axx in partner's suit, so i have a theoretically safe retreat should someone put a red card on the table. Maybe a neg X implying 5+ spades is a reasonable alternative. DHL
655321
Partner's 3♣ is an intermediate jump, around 10 to 15 pts and mostly a 6 card ♣.Does this mean that 3♣ can be a 5 card suit?! As usual, I hate the kgr competitive methods. But it doesn't matter here, I bid 3♠.Passing looks like a good way to write down -140 instead of +420. Cascade
I love the 2♣ treatment - do you have more details. For 3♠ is NF so that is what I would bid.
whereagles
3♠, regardless of it being forcing or not. (F1 is probably better than NF.)
kgr
I love the 2♣ treatment - do you have more details.over 1M:1NT: minors (4-4 or better)2♣: 4c♠ & 5+♣2♦: 4c♠ & 5+♦All of the above with same strength as a 1-level overcall.2M: 5-5 upper-lower and strongJump in other M: weak2NT: 5-5 minors and intermediateJump in minor: intermediate and 6+ (or a good 5 card). With normal 1NT bid we DBL and bid NT later. On DBL partner bids 1NT with a weak hand (8-). DBL can also be done without Clubs (ELCD). We hope that with the above we can show more hands then with standard methods, but I'm not sure about it.
