mtvesuvius
What are these two auctions? 1. 1♦ - (P) - 1♥ - (1♠)X* - (P) - 3NT - XXX 2. 1♦ - (P) - 1♥ - (1♠)X* - (P) - 3NT - XP - (P) - XX *3♥ V vs NV at MPs if it makes any difference. mr1303
Agree with Frances here. In certain situations it is reasonable to play xx as suggesting doubt, e.g. after a jump cue bid (1S) 3S (P) 3NT, but I don't think that would apply here. Phil
I play a redouble of 3N only applies in a 'stressed' auction, like (3♥) - 3N - (dbl).... Redouble in the sample auction should be to play.
