barryallen
♠J9xx♥Axxx♦J109x♣10 Just a simple question, P opens 1NT(15-17), what is your bid when passed around to you?
se12sam
I pass. "Garbage Stayman" to pass any rebid from partner after my 2♣ springs to mind, but I think this works well only when responder has 0-3/bad 4 HCP. With the specific hand given, it is easier to pass and play.

sireenb
2♣ and I wish you had a poll on this one ;)
JoAnneM
2C, mainly because if partner does happen to have a major the 110 score is better than 90, and I play mostly MP. Also, I and most of my partners open 1NT with 5-card majors.

mtvesuvius
2♣, then 2♥ or pass partner's major.
JLOL
classic 2C.
jdonn
2♣ then pass partner's rebid. I think if you do an analysis of partner's possible shapes and their likelihood opposite our hand you will see passing 2♦ is clearly better than rebidding 2♥ and that in fact it's not even close. jillybean
Pass is ok but I like 2♣/pass

the hog
Obvious 2C.
Apollo81
2♣. You have 3 chances to win here (any of the 3 suits might be better than NT) and only one chance to lose (NT is better than all the suits).
rogerclee
2♣, then 2♥ or pass partner's major. disagree
peachy
I thought for once we have a unaninmous vote. 2C, then pass.
petergreat
Pass without thinking. Garbage stayman, I think, is for something like the hand without the Ace. As it is you have a good chance of making 1NT and why jeopardize it?

Hanoi5
I agree with 2♣ but, is Pass over 2♦ normal?
Edmunte1
At MP's i would pass
Phil
2♣ and then pass pard's response because its MPs. At IMPs, I would raise a major to 3.

rbforster
Seems like a clear 2♣...P hand. 2♣ then pass partner's rebid. I think if you do an analysis of partner's possible shapes and their likelihood opposite our hand you will see passing 2♦ is clearly better than rebidding 2♥ and that in fact it's not even close. Isn't he always 3226?No, sometimes he's 2227 too

So, I think you should be able to rule that out. LOL
