mtvesuvius
I think I would put my money on Josh... Playing more hands is better than playing them better... Quantity wins here IMO. OOPS... I may be too young to bet
JLOL
FWIW jdonn and i both put our average at about 5k before this started. We'll see.
jdonn
Regarding that awful match 7, it's funny I finished exactly 1700 behind you since I went for 1700! Lol Btw for anyone interested in our excuses, we played numbers 7 8 and 9 on our laptops. Big mistake. I was hungover too lol. I have no excuse for number 14. Things should start spicing up though, we both have played badly (well he says he has been unlucky on slams, but I know I have played badly) and not really gotten big scores yet. vuroth
Awesome! How long do these tourneys last? Am I correct in concluding that if I work really hard over the next few years, and close the gap, that I, too, might someday be able to pull in a dollar an hour at money bridge? EDIT: Oops. Ok, I just read Justin's other blog entry, and now there's egg on my face. Seriously, jdonn, that is an unbelievably impressive record! Phil
All I know is I won't be registering in the J and J tourneys.
Echognome
I think jdonn has the edge through more experience with these tourneys. However, I think jlall will work out how to fit in 2-3 more boards a tourney without much loss to his play and regain that edge. The question is whether he will work that out in enough time to regain the lead with the remaining boards...
jdonn
All I know is I won't be registering in the J and J tourneys. The worst was the other day when we did those 8 tourneys, Fred Chang was in almost all of them lol. What a bad beat.
MickyB
Btw for anyone interested in our excuses, we played numbers 7 8 and 9 on our laptops. Big mistake. I've done ok in them and I've only ever used my laptop...I can only assume that, if I too used a desktop, I would own you both.

se12sam
Good luck, both of you! One cannot withdraw the BB$s that are won on BBO, right? If yes, what do you do with the thousands of earned BB$s at the end of the exercise?

pdmunro
A question I have always wondered: Do all players in Robot Races get the deals in the same order? Re Lall versus The DonnWhat chance a tie? An extra statistic? The number of times the lead changes.
Gerben42
A question I have always wondered: Do all players in Robot Races get the deals in the same order? No, everyone gets random hands not played by someone else. What chance a tie? My simulation shows that the chance of a tie is quite small: 0.135%
uday
Robot Race tournaments use the same hands in the same order. Robot Reward tournaments use random hands at each table. uday
barmar
Just for completeness, does Robot Race give the human the best hand, like Best Hand Robot Rewards does?

helene_t
Just for completeness, does Robot Race give the human the best hand, like Best Hand Robot Rewards does? Yes. Robot Reward comes in two flavors, one with best hand to human, one with random hands. jdonn and jlall use the "best hand" version.
