If you discard a spade (low or high) is it attitude for spade or suit preference for the unbid suit based on the assumption that if youre spades are good you wouldnt discard them ? I think this makes sense because: * Often at trumps you want to discard in the suit you want.* Often at notrumps you want to KEEP all in the suit you want.
