hanp
I would have bid 2C (of course) and now I will bid 3D. If partner can't bid 3NT I won't play there.
mike777
I'll try 3d

whereagles
3♦ seems ok. Why can't pard have KxxJxxxxxxKxx
miguelm
What kind of partner are we talking about...? lol Is this 3C to be trusted...? If so, why give opponents more info than they need to know....? I would bid 3NT right away and let them deal with the defense. Pass is possible too... it depends on the answer to the first question.... B) but at these colours I feel we should give it a try.If partner holds nothing more than a flat hand along with Club Ace and King we can make 3NT on top tricks unless they can take 5 Hearts first, and this is highly unlikely. Apollo81
I would also tend to pass 3♣. We're almost certainly losing at least one club trick, so for 3NT (for instance) to make we need partner to have a spade stopper and something in hearts that prevents that suit from being run against us. However, I don't think I could actually bring myself to pass red at IMPs. I'm pretty sure I'd pass at other colors/scoring.
Phil
Just pass. 5♣ is a long way off, and we would need some specific cards for 3N to be right.
Gerben42
Pass. Partner could have bid 2NT on a good hand.
jdonn
You are all wimps. Except Gerben who simply plays a non-standard convention.
mikeh
I couldn't bring myself to pass here... on the auction, it is entirely possible that partner has something useful, such as xxxx Kx Q10xx Kxx, and this makes for a decent vulnerable game. I would try 3♦, altho without a great deal of confidence that I will understand his rebid... 3♥ should not be natural, since with interest in hearts, I would bid 3♥ rather than 3♦... so if he does find that rebid, I will assume he has heart values and blast 5♣. I will pass an unlikely 3N, simply because while I expect to fail, I would rather play a poor, but not hopeless, 3N than a decent 4♣. skjaeran
It's close between passing and 3♦ for me. Playing with myself I'd tend to pass now....Being a bidder, I'll try 3♦ and follow Mike's route from there.
