Hanoi5
I want to create hands where a side has the bidding to themselves whether to play a part-score or a game or a slam, no overcalls from their opponents. I'll be using Dealmaster Pro, so what constraints would you recommend? Will I have to do 'em one by one, few by few? I need to create 36 such hands. TimG
If you want a variety of part-score, game and slam deals, I think this will be very difficult to constrain. I would suggest two separate exercises: play of the hand for an assigned contract; and bidding practice in the style of Challenge the Champs. If you have to have deals for both uncontested auction and play, I'd suggest a combination of some simple constraints (like no good six-card suit for the non-opening side) and then going through them one-by-one to make sure they meet your criteria. ASkolnick
This is why I really like the dealer program. This way you can organize classes of constraints and work accordingly.
