barmar Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 Small feature request: I'd like to have an option "Autoplay singletons only when playing against robots". Or maybe this should just be the default -- is there anyone who wouldn't want autoplay when they're playing against bots? The only reason not to autoplay is because of the UI it gives to other players (unauthorized to partner, unwanted to opponents), but bots don't take note of tempo AFAIK. I like it a lot.The way to use the robots is simple and nice.What I also like is that it keeps the movies of the previous hands. But I didn't understand how to use "save deals": Nothing happens when I click.I know how to do this on BBOWIN but not here. What I would like also is to have the ability to play teams matches but only with biddings.Gib would just give the results of the carding.I would upload hand from bidding challenges. It would be nice if this had the Best Hand option like Robot Rewards. I noticed that when North is declaring, the result shows up in My Results almost instantly, but I still have to watch the cards flying around on the screen. I remember seeing this in the early days of Robot Rewards, but I thought it was fixed. But maybe the "fix" was the Best hand option, which makes North rarely the declarer, so I just don't notice it so much. I can't replicate the problem, so I expect it was my internet connection. When it happened I could see the LH-side of the window (i.e. the play of the current hand), but on the RH-side I could see my list of friends, but when I clicked on "my hands" all I got was a white space. In particular, my plea is for a sound when someone sends me a private message. When playing or watching vugraph, this is the message that gets lost in the general chatter that happens. (I already had the dealer program on my computer so being able to use it on BBO is fantastic!) I found a couple of very minor problems: (i) I typed the explanation "!s" of a bid in the web-client, and it was correctly displayed as "♠" there, but for my "partner" watching in the old windows version the exclamation mark got chopped off and it appeared as "s". It seems the same thing happens for any explanation that begins with an exclamation mark. (ii) GIB doesn't like you alerting your bids, and will sometimes refuse to call if you do (for instance, if you alert a bid but don't type an explanation). [OK, if my oppo alerted a call and refused to provide an explanation then I'd probably refuse to call too B) ] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
