TylerE
[hv=d=n&v=n&s=sakjxhakjt9xdkxcx]133|100|Scoring: IMP1NT (12+ - 15) - ? Usual expertish agreements in place (Smolen, Texas, etc)[/hv] What's your plan and where do you think you are headed? If you stayman, partner not surprisingly bids 2♦. Part 2 - We have a 3♥ bid that shows a 6-4 Major hand (either way), GF+. After the auction 1N-3♥-3NT-4♣-4♥, you find that partner has no major Kxx or better, and a heart preference. Take it away. Echognome
Part 1 - I presume if we stayman, partner bids 2♦ (rather than 4♦) which will likely be edited). I would bid stayman then delayed Texas (or whatever variety you play) if that is available. I.e. 1N - 2♣; 2♦ - 4♦ (4♣). Then would follow up with keycard. Part 2 - From the sounds of your gadget, delayed Texas is not available. In this case, I would use your gadget and keycard for hearts. whereagles
Transfer + bid spades in a forcing way. Seems normal to me.
jdonn
I use the fancy shmancy system that shows 4-6 and then bid keycard for hearts. I wish I had the ten of spades, then I'd be all over the 7♠ contract opposite Qx xx in the majors.
