gerry Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 Popped in to BBO yesterday to have a look at the knockout stage of the Gold Coast Congress teams (This was a particularly strong event this year with many of the participants in the Yeh Brothers cup staying on). Four tables in play, 400+ kibbs at one table and no other with over 200. Thanks to Nick, Nicoleta, Tom and Hugh (Hanlon/Mcgann) for a great show. Would the 1♠ fert go for 1100 this time? Would Tom and Hugh's judgement be up to bidding the right slam? Forcing pass should be compulsory at the top level; everyone can follow it, and its huge entertainment.
