gnasher
Pass, I suppose. -670 (or -870) will be bad, but -100 in 3♣ when we could have had +200 from 2♠ is also a significant swing.
Codo
It is imps, so I will never pass this. They are vul. so rho will have his bid. I have at most 2,5 tricks, so I need partner to 3,5 by himself. x,Akxx,Axx,Kxxx maybe? When partner is so rich, they can hardly double us anyway, so I try 2 NT. I would pass at mps of course. brianshark
I'm going to pass, even at IMPs. On a bad day, they make. But on most days we get 200 or 500 and we are unlikely to make anything at the 3-level. We are unlikely to have an 8-card fit at the 3-level, there's a chance we might not even find our 4-3 fit depending on what methods we play (who doesn't play lebensohl here?) and we're almost surely going minus. I'm fairly confident passing is the correct move in spite of the risk they make 2♠.
mtvesuvius
Pass. At IMPs this is not perfect, but IMO it's our greatest chance of going plus on this hand.
jdonn
2NT isn't natural here for most people so it's not even an option. Pass is probably the least risky action, not the most risky.

Phil
Some play Lebensohl off by a passed hand, and that would be my call. Otherwise if 2N is artificial then I would pass.

orlam
Some play Lebensohl off by a passed hand, Why would you do that? I thought Lebensohl is to distinguish between 0-7 and 8-11. Neither of them would open, typically.

We aren't a passed hand. A common agreement is that lebensohl is off after both members of the partnership are passed hands, but even then it's more usual to play 2NT as scramble. Han and me play that Lebensohl is off when doubler is a passed hand. This seemed very logical to us, as his strength is pretty well-defined, so advancer can just guess whether to bid game (and usually he won't want to invite, anyway).
