If partner does have the spade King, then Declarer has at most 13 HCP, which likely include the heart Ace-King. If I place partner with the club Queen for some reason and attack clubs on that long shot, then I force one club ruff in dummy. Then, Declarer might fall apart. So, at IMP scoring I might switch to a club. Playing Declarer for something like ♠xx ♥AKxxx ♦QJx ♣Jxx and maybe a mistake? I just don't know at MP, though, that this makes sense.
