In the last round, a regular partner of mine came to our table. I said "Weird hands today, huh?" He said, "Yeah, two 12-card fits." I said, "Yeah, I don't remember the last time I put down ace-queen sixth as dummy." I sort the next hand...xx x Jx AKQJxxxx. Partner opens 1C in first seat and goes on to declare 6 clubs. New record? Fluffy Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 In Bejing I had ♥AQ10xxx for a suit partner introduced at the 6 level (partner's bids where 1 spade and 6 hearts over my take out double). On the bidding: (3♥)-4♦-(4♥) Partner had 7 card diamond support, we did NOT play non leaping michaels (but I was willing to bid 4♠ next round anyway :D). Partner didn't raise me!!
