Codo
I hate you for posting this. (I always get these wrong) I learned to pass these hands and accept the occasional missed fits to avoid the many possible misfits.

skjaeran
I lead the ♥A.
mtvesuvius
I also always get these wrong, but it looks like with no round suit spots and 3 pointed suit losers off the top that we are certainly not bidding to make. So then the question is whether we have a good sac. Partner didn't jump raise our suit so we can assume partner has <4♥, making 5♥ usually a disaster... Partner "could" have long clubs, but this is too much of a risk, so bidding is out of the question. The next question is whether to double... It looks like we are not taking both our AKs and the A♦ doesn't have to be with LHO... I pass.
jdonn
I pass. What's your lead? Ace of hearts. Partner will have a better idea how to signal when he knows more about my length.
mtvesuvius
I pass. What's your lead? Becuase you ask this, declarer probably has a ♥ void and Qxx♣ opposite Jxx :) But I lead the A♥ also; For the reasons stated above... Also, there is a greater chance of getter partner in with a ♥ underlead if necessary.

MarkDean
Agree with pass, but would lead the club ace: seems rather likely there are a lot of hearts in the dummy, and that opener will ruff/overruff pretty early.
skjaeran
I won't lead a club honour since declarer pretty often is 2-suited. If he's got a club suit, I'm helping him set up his suit. A heart won't help declarer much, unless he's got hearts himself. Which I strongly doubt.
Apollo81
Here's the full hand, and auction. This was given to me anecdotally. [hv=d=s&v=b&n=sxhxxdt9xxxcjt9xx&w=sxxhqjtxxdjxxcqxx&e=sakqxxxxxhxdaqxxc&s=sjthakxxxdkcakxxx]399|300|Scoring: MP[/hv] 1♥-(p)-p-(4♠)Dbl-(p)-4NT-(5♠)Dbl-(all pass) ♥A lead, making 5. It's interesting that ♣A lead will let them make 6! Declarer draws trumps, cashes the ♦A, and leads a heart, endplaying South.
helene_t
I pass. What's your lead? Ace of hearts. Partner will have a better idea how to signal when he knows more about my length. Have you adopted the "highest from odd" convention? :)
