Opponents start with 3 rounds of clubs, all following, you winning with the queen. What do you discard from hand and what is your plan? kenrexford
The simple line is to ditch a diamond, heart to Ace, diamond to Ace, ruff a diamond, and then play the K of hearts. If the diamonds and heart split 3-2, you claim. You might make 5 if the heart Queen drops.
Hanoi5
I discard a spade, play ♥AK and ♦AK ruff a diamond. This I think is the simple line.
dcvetkov
I discard a spade, play ♥AK and ♦AK ruff a diamond. This I think is the simple line. This is all nice, but you know that hand would not be here if everything is honky dory. Lets say you follow this line, but when you cash K of ♦, RHO discards a spade. What next? So, on my line, apparently everyone follows to the first heart, I then win the diamond Ace in dummy, and RHO shows out when I play a small diamond toward dummy to ruff? Or, does he pop in a heart pip to force my second top heart?

I just ruff a diamond back into my hand and ♠K for a ruffing finesse.
Trumpace
This thread should not be in the sayc, 2/1 forum. Perhaps interesting hands is a better place.
