Hanoi5
♠ATxx♥Void♦QJxxx♣A8xx Both Vulnerable, partner opens 1Nt (15-17) and the next player, who is an expert and sound bidder, bids 4♥, your bid. If it matters, you're playing swiss teams and it's the last board.
Gerben42
A T/O Dbl seems like the obvious choice. Otherwise abstain  Edit: I've just read the RGB thread and I should be consistent and write here that if partner bids 4♠ as expected, I will follow up with 5♥. rogerclee
Vulnerability and form of scoring are very relevant here.
P_Marlowe
Hi, I dont pass. I would guess X is for penalty, ... if I trust the 4H bidder, we will get at most 500, if at all. Most likely I would go with 4NT, which should be for the minors, and I raise 5 to 6. With kind regardsMarlowe
jdonn
So I guess the question is how much do we trust the 4♥ bidder? Vul really does matter here. I could bid 5♥ and raise anything to slam if I can trust the opponent. Of course I don't bid 4NT since that's a good way to find a 4-3 club fit, in fact if partner is 4333 I miss two 8 card fits for the 7 card club fit. MFA
Double. I won't try to be a hero on this one. Partner is a big favourite to have at least some wasted heart values. And even if we find our magic 8-card fit slam, bad breaks might do us in.
