[ONEHAND 984--- 8---Q1075432---Ax][/ONEHAND] spades hts diamd cl

Partner opens 1 diamond min 4 cards ply Sayc-next hand bids vuln 2 Hts, i click the bid,and prompt reply "No information available" where does this tool come from???

so i now click my RH opp and ask weak or strong?????????? no answer, again i ask again no answer--because of the delay in asking,my partner asks R U there,so i type into the room im asking a question----------now partner of the 2 ht bidder passes,my pard x's-----2hts passes i then bid 5 diamonds, next hand bids 5 hts- pass-pass, tick it makes the partner of the 2ht bidder, thought also that the 2 hts was weak,if i had known the 2 hts was strong, i would have passed and smelt a rat,if the bidding picks up i was thinking of sacrifice in five diamds--my partner would not have x 2 hts,

upshot is they have 5 hts on

is "No information Legal"

"No agreement" is often the case in the main bridge club. If the opponents have no agreement, they are under no obligation to tell you what they intend the bid to mean (indeed, some people would argue that people should not offer the meaning of a bid when there is no agreement). At some tables, the 2H bidder could have stated to the table that 2H was strong so that opponents and partner alike would know. Some people think that's a travesty.

It is important to remember that this is a just a single result in the main bridge club of BBO. In other words: it means nothing. Just move on and try to enjoy the next hand seems to be the best approach.

tim g has summed it up understand now ty all for input regards

but in passing-where the alert box is on the screen one can type in "strong"

then only the opps are made aware-the partner does not see that statement, that also applies to other specialised bids-cue etc etc
