When I first started playing bridge, I played for 6 months and a gap was caused by the premature death of my 81 year old partner. I have only played online ever since, can only play online and there have not been gaps since. How many have had gaps since playing online? How many partners have you sluffed?m and did you willingly contribute to their demise? PS-- THE AUTOPSY EXONERATE ME, MAY HE REST IN PEACE. I have written about bridge when not playing - the difference to me is when actively playing the thoughts are virtually daily thoughts; when not playing, something must spur the thinking (like reading BBO forums).
