Fluffy
MBC: the contract is 5 spades by north, my partner has already made 10 tricks when this position arisies: [hv=n=shjdc3&w=shdc104&e=shkdc6&s=shdcq9]399|300|[/hv] My partner is in hand and plays ♣3 from hand and plays the 9 from dummy, LHO wins and returns last club. At this point my partner asks for undo (why for?), and plays ♣Q wich was the card he probably intended to play to assure the contract. Opponents accept (It doesn't matter, why???). RHO then says: undo after seeing the next card is unaceptable. And he left the table!, LOL. The other was a bit frustrating at the start, luckilly I just laughed in the end. Team match, we are getting slaughtered by opponents playing almost perfect. 3♣ by West, N-S had just cashed their 4th trick. [hv=n=shjdc3&w=shdc104&e=shkdc6&s=shdcq9]399|300|[/hv] After a long tank, I realiced that the contract was almost unbeatable, only chance was that I played a spade at this point and partner pitches his last heart before declarer can enjoy dummy's ♥Q, declarer would discard his last diamond instead, but then on the way back to hand I would ruff with ♣J hopefully promoting partner's ♣9. All very good but not today. To my surprise, when I played the spade, LHO ruffed with ♣9!, when LHO saw my partner discarding ♥6 instead of a lame overruff, he realiced what he had done and asked for undo. I must admit, it took me a bit to accept it, but in the end I just laughed and clicked YES. Now I see the full hand I wonder how can someone missclick on the middle club LOL. The only surprising thing is that the opponent was a golden star, and not from a third world country preciselly. You can never know with this game!
