RogerPfi
Teaching Table - Display Bug - 'Work Around' First the solution - click the "Hand diagrams" button this one http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/RogerPf/ii_x_2009/teachers_bbo_button.jpg a couple of times. :) Now for the problem, you come late to a teaching table OR you are happily there watching or (even worse) playing and get booted of and immediately log back in and go to your seat. What can happen is IF you are in play (not bidding) mode and there are trumps then the algorithm to display them goes wrong instead of showing them in the new place it fails and shows a lot of nothing. Look below, there are in 4♥ and in some of the hands have a lot of the cards missing !!!!(If you are at the table when the hand is loaded then - NO PROBLEM) http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/RogerPf/ii_x_2009/teachers_bbo_bad_display.jpg But if you use the magic button a couple of times http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/RogerPf/ii_x_2009/teachers_bbo_button.jpg You get to see them - like so :) http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/RogerPf/ii_x_2009/teachers_bbo_good_display.jpg Please spread the word - its the students who need to know most. Of course if you are about to say - "I already knew that" well all I can say is - why didn't you tell the rest of us. :) --Roger
Rain
Interesting fix, haven't seen it, but will probably remember from now on. Thanks :)
boris3161
Another oddity on teaching tables is that if you move from playing to kibbing, you can't always see all the hands - despite the setting being "show all hands". You can leave the table and rejoin or you can set it to kib a single hand and then back to all hands. This is very useful if you happen to be the teacher 'cos the table closes if you leave it!
