NotButter
The Vugraph Schedule on http://www.bridgebase.com/online/vg.html currently lists starting times based on local times in New York and Paris. Is it possible to code the page so it uses the one's PC clock and lists the time (and adjusted date, if necessary) to local time. mrdct
... or at least display the times in GMT which is much easier to work out for people who don't live in CET or EST.
fred
... or at least display the times in GMT which is much easier to work out for people who don't live in CET or EST. However I do this some people complain about it. We used to use GMT and that resulted in a lot morecomplaints than the current method. For a while I was listing Sydney as well as Paris andNew York, but unfortunately I am hopeless when itcomes to calculating times and dates, especially whenthe International Date Line is involved. The chart alsogets cumbersome and confusing when an event is onApril 27 in one place and April 28 in another place. Not sure what the long term solution here is. Perhapssome kind of web database application for maintainingthe list of upcoming broadcasts and automaticallygenerating the web page...
