fred
I probably should not have started this politically incorrectdiscussion (as some people may have been offended), butI will try to finish it properly. Sheri has many wonderful qualities. She also happens to bea very beautiful woman in my view. Every day I think abouthow lucky I am to have found her and this has very little todo with her physical appearance. She is also not the jealous type and has no problem with meplaying bridge with whoever I want, regardless of their genderor how they look. My previous post was intended as a joke (probably not a verygood one) and I hope everyone understood it as such. If anyonewas offended (especially Aisha who seems like a lovely person)then I apologize. slothy
seems like a BIG misunderstanding Fred may have condensed from this.. Never suggested anything other than what i wrote, and i hope nothing sinister was read into it.... Sheri does appear to be a beautiful woman, and i am sure she is, in all ways, looks included. From what you said, we BOTH seem to be lucky men ;) 1) Aisha was not offended - in fact was quite flattered - with your post. 2) it was a joke, and understood as such, and quite a good one, in my opinion :P Sorry for misunderstanding... I meant what i said about Aisha's cardigan :)) i had to buy her a new one. (And no doubt have to buy her a pair of shoes and matching hand-bag too now [i KNNNNNEWWW i shouldnt have responded])
fred
I was not offended by your post in the least - in fact I foundit funny, but I have learned the hard way that there are plenty of people who think that posts like the ones we madeare not funny at all. Reason for my previous post is that BBO Forums is supposed to be about bridge. My view is that when we depart from thatsubject (and when we don't), we should try to be careful to besensitive to other people's feelings.
