neilkaz
Pass now .. we likely have a missfit 21 or 22 combined HCP and PD's ♣ should be at least a good 6 carder. Should I have passed last turn ? I think the answer depends on how likely PD is to give a 3 card raise to 2♠ vs rebidding ♣ but with game unlikely passing last turn is prudent. P_Marlowe
Pass. Depends a little on the meaning of 2D,for me this would be NMF, and 3C wouldshow a min. But I would pass it out. With kind regardsMarlowe

nige1
Dealer: West Vul: N/S Scoring: MP ♠ J9754 ♥ AK8 ♦ QT872 ♣ [space] 1♣ 1♠2♣ 2♦3♣ ? IMO _P = 10, 3N = 1.
Fluffy
I'd rather bid 2NT the round before than 2♦, 2♦ is GF for me. On the given hand, there are times where you make 3NT and you don't make 3♣ (like the hand given), If the opponents are not doubling your games, 3NT can be a winner in the long run. Finch
On the given hand, there are times where you make 3NT and you don't make 3♣ (like the hand given).... usually only if partner's bidding bears no relation to his hand (like the hand given)
Fluffy
right :), but there are others. anyway, I don't udnerstand people who pass after starting a GF sequence.
gnasher
anyway, I don't udnerstand people who pass after starting a GF sequence. Perhaps they don't play 2♦ as game-forcing?
