ggwhiz
♥Ace.... Continue or switch to a spade after seeing the dummy. No convictions but that's the way Grandma defends.
jdaming
A♥ is asking for a bottom board. I see virtually no way this could profit (barring maybe a singleton K). I think I prefer all of the listed choices to the Ace.
ggwhiz
It's IMP's. I'll surrender overtricks for a chance to beat it although this is a long shot.
paulg
This is from the Cayne match yesterday. Versace led the ♥A, continuing the suit as partner had 5 of them (and dummy held ♠KQTx). This ensured a two trick defeat. In the other room, after a less revealing auction, a diamond was led into the opponents 5-5 fit and the contract made. p
Fluffy
I voted for low heart, with no storng conviction. Was low ♥ good enough to beat the contract?

ggwhiz
It occurred to me much later that the Heart Ace lead caters to pard having Qxxxx where a low heart would block the suit. ie. dummy has the stiff 10 and declarer Kxx.

You can find a disaster lay out for any lead, think of leading the ace and finding partner with 10xxx declarer having ♥Hxx or ♥KQx for example. Or ♥ giving the 9th trick....
