Best line?

Here's a hand I played on BBO recently against good opponents:

[hv=d=s&v=b&n=saxxhxdqt8xxcakxx&s=stxxxhaxxdakcqjxx]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv]

The contract is 6 by south after a long auction where opponents were silent. The K was lead. What is the best line?

My line at the table is in hidden text; I did make the hand but was not convinced that I took the highest percentage line of play.

I won the heart ace, ruffed a heart, and played the diamond ace-king. My plan was to play for clubs 3-2 and diamonds no worse than 4-2, but when the diamond jack fell on the second round of the suit I had a claim.

If you take the north hand as the main hand, you have 2 spade losers.

So you have to develop the diamonds for at least 2 spade discards without giving a diamond away.

For this to work, you need 4 diamond tricks w/o ruffing or giving one to them and trumps 3-2.

The heart ruff is not necessary, I would start with two high clubs both high diamonds and a club to the ace. When one defender has Jxx or Jx , I will make it. Not the best slam ever.

how about ruff a , cross to A, ruff a , cross to K, cross to AK, ruff a , pull the last trump with the Q?

This line works when clubs are 3-2 and diamonds are no worse than 4-2. You also have some possibilities when diamonds are 3-3 or 4-2 with the jack falling and 4 clubs with RHO, or if LHO has both 4 baby diamonds and 4 clubs

Seems a little better to ruff a heart, club ace-king. If trumps are 3-2, you are cold with diamonds 4-2. If trumps are 4-1, you play diamond to the ace, heart ruff, diamond to the king, pull trump and hope diamonds are running.

I would play

Ace of hearts, heart ruff, AK clubs, AK diamonds, heart ruff, diamond ruff, draw trump, and spade to the ace.

I am not worried that the third heart will be overruffed, since LHO with KQxxxxx would have made some noise over south's 1C.

If I find clubs 4-1 after cashing the AK, I'd draw trump and hope the diamonds are 3-3 or jack falls
