Ugly, as it would be if we had rebid 2♥ also (maybe even uglier then as we will never figure out 3NT is bad if partner has a singleton heart for example.) I prefer to bid hearts preempting the oppoennts from leading it than having a chance to find out we don't stop it. I don't claim it being right nor better, but the reason I like it is that you often don't have alternative contract, and sometimes the hearts just split 4-3 or 3-3.
