fred
We used a new software technology for displaying the "movies" of the hands that were played in last nights ACBL Interclub tournament: Link The interesting thing about this is that you can use it on an iPhone (and probably any other phone that can run a web browser). This may be a taste of some good things to come... Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
marie__L
I can see the text but I don't see the diagram :P
helene_t
This may make it more difficult to get ACBL to lift the cell phone ban, at least for vugraph-covered events :P
keylime
Fred, Pretty slick so far on the iPhone.
fred
I can see the text but I don't see the diagram :P What sort of device/browser are you using? Your browser has to support Javascript for this to work (and you have to enable Javascript - you may have it turned off as a security measure). fred
Fred, Pretty slick so far on the iPhone. Thanks Dwayne. It looks even slicker on the iPhone when the entire screen can be devoted to the hand (and opposed to half the screen being devoted to the analysis). That iPhone is one amazing little machine :P Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
marie__L
I use Mozilla Firefox
fred
I use Mozilla Firefox It definitely works on Firefox on all of the PCs we have tried (4 of them - 3 Windows and 1 Linux). Make sure Javascript is enabled. If that doesn't help, try clearing your browser cache. If that doesn't help, try loading a different hand (ideally try all 18 of them). If you learn anything, please let me know. Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
marie__L
Yes Javascript is enable and it still doesn't work. Must be something else. I tried with internet explorer and it works then it doesn't matter anymore for me ;) Thank you
keylime
Fred, The responsiveness was also unexpectedly good. I zoomed in and could see the alerts and such without issue. I just got my iPhone (an early birthday gift) and was happy to see this.
Elianna
Somehow I managed to place my message below in the wrong thread. I have no idea how I managed to do it, but here it is. Fred, The responsiveness was also unexpectedly good. I zoomed in and could see the alerts and such without issue. I just got my iPhone (an early birthday gift) and was happy to see this. Looks great on my (older) iphone! I didn't even have to enlarge it to read, just held the phone sideways. I too love my iPhone.
