Hanoi5
[hv=d=w&v=b&s=shj8daj9xxxca9xxx]133|100|Scoring: MP[/hv] Partner opens 1♥, RHO overcalls 1♠, you bid 2♦(!), Pass to your left and 4 Hearts from partner and it's your turn again. 2♦ might not be very orthodox, or is it? Do you go on? How? What 3rd bid are you preparing?
rogerclee
4♠, I have the nuts. Agree with 2♦ the first round.
helene_t
4♠ even without nuts. 2♦ was perfectly normal. I suppose a double would suggest the flexibility of the hand, but if opps compete in spades I am more comfortable having bid diamonds first as I can then bid 4♣ later over 3♠. Codo
Not bidding 4 ♠ is nuts. This hand looks golden.xxx,AKQT9xxxx,Kx is close to laydown GS.
