Fluffy Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 I ve mailed several times for different reasons to BBO, cheating, abuse, bug reporting, help.... each of them (or so I remember) were I was asked to mail by one of the yellow background helping guys. I have never got any answer from any of my mails, first thing I´ve thought is I misstyped the mail... but then I should have got an underivable mail mensage, and I didn´t from any of them. Email to abuse come to my inbox There are many reasons you might not have received a response - Your email was deleted by one of our spam filters. Each of us is plagued with hundreds of spam and viruses daily, and your email may have fit one of the characteristics. Try emailing a short "pls reply to make sure you got this" to one of us - Your email address is on a blacklist. When I get an email that is particularly obnoxious, I put the sender on my "ignore" list - Your email was processed, but not response-worthy. I dont always respond to emails that say "John doe left the table." If you want a response, say so in the email. - Your email was abandoned. A large percentage of my email is ignored for lack of a better response. The more complex the issue, the more work it takes to process. The more work an issue takes, the more likely i am to abandon it. - Your email is still in my queue. The way i deal w/email is this: i check periodically, and deal with the ones i can. Rain Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 I don't think applies to you Fluffy, but recently I didn't send a follow up mail once or twice. The complaints were dealt with, just that I didn't follow up with an acknowledgement--I usually do, but having some problems getting used to new email software, sorry.
