awm
Pass for me. Suit quality not good enough for 2♠. Hand not good enough for 1♠. I'm sure that in some forms of limited-opening systems I might open, it depends on what the exact agreement is. If I do open I'm rebidding 2♣ over 1NT by the way. If you played this hand with the partner you were playing with earlier tonight (fairly likely based on the timing of the post), I'm pretty sure he opens 2♠ on this one. He is not a real believer in suit quality. :)
rogerclee
Pass unless I can open an 11-15 1♠.
Edmunte1
I'll just pass.

gwnn
11-15 it's a borderline opener, otherwise it's a clear pass
kenrexford
I have spades and plausibility. 1♠ for me.
Benoit35
11 HCP and stiff king → no 1♠. Unless in 3rd or 4th seat, and in bad need of a break.None of the top 3 honors → no 2♠. I'd rather wait for a chance to respond or overcall.
Gerben42
I would never open anything in standard. 2♠ in Fantunes (6th ♠ makes up for something), though, and 1♠ in agressive opening variants.
