the hog
Imps all vul xxTxxxxxxxxxx (P) 1S (2D) P(2N) X (P) ? Do you leave the X or do you bid 3H or something else I haven't thought of.
Fluffy
3♥: The problem here is to know if partner has a strong 18-20 balanced or he has long ♠ running before his ♦ stoppers are gone. Both are possible, but I think I will give west some credit for his bid and bid 3♥ (if he isn´t worth my trust I beleive he won´t let 2NT be played and we will face another problem). Again another bidding where knowing your opponents would help!.
Free
pass, and suggest you can bid 2♥ after 2♦ overcall with such hand :)
Flame
3♥ not because i'm weak but because thats what partner wanted when he made the double which is t/o short in diamonds.if for example i had XXXXXXXXXXXXXthen i would take it out not of a choice but because i know 2nt will make with overtricks. joker_gib
Most probably TO with short ♦, so 3♥ ! :)

the hog
Interesting that most of you regard the x for takeout with short Ds rather than a penalty X. Frankly I didn't care either way: My hand was: AxxxxAKQJ2xAQ Pd bid 3H . 650 as opposed to 800, as interestingly, rho said he would not have pulled the X to 3D. He held: KQxxxxKTxKxxx

He held: KQxxxxKTxKxxx Where are these opponents when I play? Ones that can make 3♦ (6♦+3♠), and prefer to play 2NTX down 800. 3♥ is the right bid over double, simple. joker_gib
Not pull with nothing in ♥, KTx in ♦ and no ace !! That should be some kind of masochism !! LOL
Fluffy
I think it is the other guy who should have pulled out, what did he bid with? ♦AQJ and ♠&♣J´s? there I found my masochist :D. Althoug he didn´t wanna pull out, its interesting if redouble of either of the opponents here would be SOS or that 'hey man, I am not very sure about this' thing (wich fits good with both I think)
luis
Pass, if pd doesn't know what he is doing we'll talk later.
EarlPurple
I would also take-out because I think that's what partner is expecting me to do. With partner's hand I might have bid 3H myself.
Flame
You have a ten card fit, I would put this hand in the sucessfull hands because he had 10 card fit and didnt sell it low. I dont judge bye a single score, and happy when i bid what my TT tell me.

mishovnbg
Pass. The way I play dbl means 5+♣ or penalty, so 3♥ is not an option. With take out my p can bid 3♣: 3+♣, 4+♥ or 3♦: 5+♥ strong or 3♥: 5+♥ competitive... Losing tempo to show distribution after they found fit is very vulnerable.
