We agreed to play Lebensohl - 2NT weak relay - bu don't have agreements about bidding this hand.

What is best ageement here?

I'm bidding a direct 3N. This doesn't feel like a hand where we having running tricks, so I want a stop in partners hand also.

To be clear about what I'm looking for (..after?):

Having Lebenshol, how do you use it to show stopper, no stopper, 4cH with stopper...?

(I'm not sure that I like that going via 2NT alwayse denies stopper. Maybe it is better to play that going via 2NT shows a 4 card H?)

Way I've always played is:

 

3NT - Doesn't promise a stop, but doesn't deny a stop like Axx, values for game

3opp = 4OM no stop

2N-3C-3opp = 4OM with stop

2NT, planning to bid 3NT.

 

Maybe after partners answer you will know more,

e.g. after a 3C bid which showes a min.

Not unlikely, but 2Nt followed by 3Nt is all you can

do, maybe partner gets the message.

how do you play it after opponents

inteverne against your 1NT opener.

 

A common thing is slow showes, fast

denies.

 

But even if you have agreed, that fast

denies, I doubt you find a lot of peoble

to bid 3NT direct without a stopper.

I am a little confused here, why am i trying to get to 3NT on this hand? I bid 3H if i trust p to respect the forcing nature of the call, otherwise i either force with 3S and pass his 3nt or bid 4H over his 4m call. ( i could just blast 4H too)

I like something like TylerE's suggestion: Fast denies 4 card OM and 3NT promises stop:

3NT = stop, no 4OM

3opp = no 4OM, no stop

2N-3C-3opp = 4OM with no stop

2N-3C-3NT = 4OM, stop

it's possible my understanding of lebensohl is very poor ;P

 

(so I just 3♠ this)
