Codo
Is there any possibility that the opps are not joking around? Declarer has AKQxxx,V,Jxxx,QxxRHO has x,Axxxx,KQxx,Jxx?Pd has x,x,Jxxx,AKxxxxx? Sorry that makes no sense to me, so I bet someone is jokering around.I bid 4 Heart. IF anybody has his bid, this will be no fun, but I don't belive my opps this time.
mikeh
I don't think anyone is fooling around: not at this vulnerbility and not when rho lacks a big spade fit... he can't afford to bid a short heart suit when partner might raise. I suspect I can make 2♥ (they will lead a high spade and may cash some winners, give RHO a ruff, and now I am in control). However, they might not, or rho may have 6 trump... anyway, we rate to do okay against 2♠, especially if partner has the void heart.
Gerben42
I'm going to bid 3♥. Something is fishy, opps bid the majors and partner didn't Dbl for TO again, yet didn't have a weak jump. We have the balance of power, but ♠ are all in front of the long hand. Still I think passing is going to cost...

For me, this is really difficult. I still guess that they had a misunderstanding or a kind of bluff. My pd has a 0346 hand, declarer something like 5143, responder 3244 and I have my 5710. :)Responder thought that they play transfers after 1 ♠ 2 ♣, opener was not in this secret. Or responder tried to a bluff.

LHO AKxxxx v Jxxxx QxRHO Q A987x Kxx xxxxPartner x x Qxxx AKJxxxx You don't have to agree with every bid for the auction to be possible... I still find a strange bid here and an overbid there more likely than a psych in a non-fit auction.
Codo
Thanks Arend, you are right, these hands are possible and fits well to the auction. I still don't belive that this is what happened, but at least I can see the possibility at last.
Finch
I had this hand and passed, which was +200 on a cross-ruff.Everyone does (more or less) have their bids. If you bid 3H it will make in practice, although double dummy 3H is one off. There is an upside to bidding 3H, which is that RHO might double you in it, and you will finish with +730. There's no real reason why he should double if he trusts you, but perhaps he doesn't... RHO has xA9xxxQJ10xQJx LHO hasKQ987xKxxxKxx Our four scores were +140 in 3H (different auction), +200 (us), -200 (team-mates sitting the other way), -730 (team-mates who didn't trust their oppo)
