1eyedjack
I only just realised recently (with the notification of the upgrade) that the robot's logic engine is stored locally at client end. Presumably (correct me) it is the engine stored on the computer of the table host that runs GIB logic at a given table. As there is more than one level of competence of GIB engine out in the public domain I see no alternative, ie if there are 2 humans and 2 GIBs at a table, *something* has to define which GIB engine is being used and that seems as logical as any. Which brings me to the money bridge tourneys. Do you get different qualities of GIB at different tables? Or are all of the robots at these events run by a server-based engine? hotShot
I think the MBT-Robots are running on the server. The double-dummy analysis is running local. I don't know about the other uses of robots.
Gerardo
GIBs on free tables run on client (table host). All money related GIBs run on server, on identical hardware.
