inquiry
I will bid 4♣, but thne I am a little wacky, given the vulnerabilty. My leaping michaels are "liberal".
mishovnbg
2NT raptor, my leaping michaels is F1. Misho
pbleighton
Do I read this right, as unfavorable vul for us? If so, Ben, then your 4C is courageous  At unfavorable, 2S for me, in spite of the club suit. Peter
luis
4c I have enough offensive values to use leaping michaels.

Free
You have only 5 losers and a 6-5 distribution. It's rare enough, so do something with it. I'll probably bid 3♥ to show 55+ ♠-m, but it can give away too much info to opps as well...
hrothgar
6-5, come alive... I bid 4C
Antoine Fourrière
4♠. Not even close.I don't want partner to pass with three clubs and two spades.Clubs will serve at 4/5/6♠, spades won't serve at 5/6♣.And it is more useful to conceal my hand than to look for a sacrifice, especially at this vulnerability. It could turn -100 into +650, or -1400 into -500.
the hog
2S for me; my leaping Michaels is a bit better, though I have sympathy for the bid.
inquiry
2NT raptor, my leaping michaels is F1. Misho I was pretty sure, my leaping michaels with this hand would not have too many followers... .I was very happy to see several good players agreed with my very aggressive approach, and at least had sympathy for the bid. And yes, Peter, at unfavorable vulnerabilty, leaping michaels here is courageous... but I have good experience with liberal leaping michaels ever since reading about it Bridge World (Cappelletti author I believe). Minimum requirements areound 9 hcp.... Now for Misho's response. First, since I play this bid can be very weak, I am just hoping we find a fit in my minor or major. So, unlike Misho' my 4♣ here is not one round force (we are going to have to solve this little problem since we play together....). Also, 2NT as "raptor" is a highly unusual treatment, and raptor with a longer major than the minor would be unusual as well. Even if you played this 2NT as raptor, would you really risk it. I mean, would raptor here be forcing (BTW, Misho and I ahve agreed that Raptor 1NT is 1 round force, so with responder must bid, so I assume he would want to use the same rule here). Fluffy
Althou I am not sure if I would bid 4♣ or not, What I am sure is I would never bid 2♠, direct bids should be much strronger at this vulnerability, even more than leaping michales IMO, it will probably lead us to a doubled ♥ contract and a tougher decision to make, probably with no real answer. After thinking a bit more I think its time for leaping michael´s, leaping michael´s don´t happen quite often so if we finally go -1100 at least we´ll check if partner remembers :P
Trpltrbl
4♠ with most pd's, 2♠ with select few. Mike :D
