han
A friend of mine has a problem. Every time I log onto BBO he's playing in some best hand money bridge tournament. When I try to talk about it with him he denies it and says he increased his "bankroll" from $2 to $123 in a short time. But I know that isn't true. Please BBO, you have a responsibility. Put a stop to these tournaments and save my friend.

han
Poker is far less addictive to him, he like having good hands.
pclayton
Bridge will explode in popularity if it is viewed as a game for degenerates. Your friends bankroll and self-esteem are casualties in a bigger war.
sceptic
Problem solved, they are being renamed "Robot Rewards" so your friend wont be able to find them now. (unless he reads the forums or someone tells him)
y66
If your friend were drowning in icy water, for example, in this part of the forum, would you have the courage to ask BBO to save him then?
jdonn
$2.75 to $124.65, and I hate you.
Gerben42
Looks like Josh has inside information here :) If you buy in for $200 and then lose $80 of that, your bankroll will have increased by $120...

Al_U_Card
I was "sort of" addicted....to winning. My stake of $18 ran up to $75 BBO $. I hated the bridge, but loved the winning. At that point, I had learned to play one less hand per 24 min. but used the time to mouse over each GIB bid and use that information because their bids didn't necessarily jive with what I thought they meant. The results were very satisfying. At that point (up $75) the mouse-overs failed to provide a hint. It wasn't long before my stake dwindled to $1 (where it stands for the last 4 months). The bad bridge and lack of ability to win against bots cancelled that addiction. :D
