1 is sick at IMP's, IMO. Partner will be hard-pressed to stretch for games on the next deal, he won't trust leading my suit against the next spade contract, or he will bid like a lunatic to make up the -1100.

 

2 is beyond silliness. Not to mention, this should be intermediate, IMO.

 

1NT Raptor is excellent. Play that more often here. Especially when I come to the table.

If you read my post as suggesting that it was the 1H call that lead to a great result, and therefore 1H is a good bid then, you misunderstood my intentions. Often people like to know what happened at the table.

I didn't misunderstood you, I was just questioning the merits your overcall :blink:

I'm surprised you like a 1NT-Bid.

 

If ther cards justify declaring 2, I'd much rather bid it right away.
