gnasher
1♥. Considered as a weak two, the hand has four flaws: each ace, the poor suit, and its being too strong.
pclayton
1♥. If this hand was a 6♥(322) I would pass.
Free
I don't like preempts with 2 Aces, but I'm going to make an exception for this one.
peachy
I misclicked the vote, meant to say 1H but clicked on the multi - in case anyone's counting votes :)
han
Can't really answer without knowing whom I'm playing with. I know I sound like mike777 when I say this and I hate it, but this hand is right on the edge and with some partners I'm just not going to open 1H. rogerclee
I open 1♥ no matter who I am playing with.
skjaeran
1♥ or 2♦, depending on agreements with my particular partner at the time.Undiscussed: 1♥

Gerben42
[hv=d=s&n=skqxxxhadqxxxcqxx&s=sxhqtxxxxdaxxcaxx]133|200|[/hv] 1♥ - 1♠2♥ - 3NT Was a hopeless contract. After opening 2♥, the bad game was avoided. Would you like one where pass is best also?
EricK
This looks like a 1♥ opener to me.
P_Marlowe
Hi, I would go with either Pass or 1H. Because of the ten of hearts, 1H it is, but it is close. In the end it comes down to partnership agreements. With kind regardsMarlowe
joker_gib
I don't like preempts with 2 Aces, but I'm going to make an exception for this one. I don't like preempts with 2 Aces and this one is easier as this is too strong for 2♥ 1♥
awm
It's worth noting that opposite Axxx Axxx KQx KQ there are a lot of weak two bids that make slam: xKxxxxxAxxxxx KxxKJxxxx- JTxx xxKQxxxxAxxxx Obviously these are well-fitting hands and tend to be maximums, but it's easy to imagine opener with ♥K and a minor suit ace, and some useful shape. I think it's wimpy of responder to just give up rather than making some of the many slam-tries available below the level of game. I could see some auction like 2♦ multi - 2NT asking - whatever shows a maximum with hearts - cuebid and basically opener takes over and forces to slam. I took al blame on me for opening 2D..maybe I can blame partner after all :) If it starts:2♦-2NT3♠-4♣ 2♦=multi2NT=asking3♠=max with ♥4♣=control....Now i don't stop short of 6.
