pippo13
I am practising Mike Lawrence's 2/1 system, and would like to change some items in the SAYC advanced card. How could I make the changes? Should I register this modified card under a name of my own? Where? Inside my folder or outside?
helene_t
You can use the "bidedit" program in the "Bridge Base Online" folder to edit one of the FD files (you may start with BBO Advanced which is a 2/1 system) and then save it under a new name. You will then be able to load it for your own use. If you want others to use it, you can post it in the "Full disclosure" subforum.

Should I register this modified card under a name of my own? Where? Inside my folder or outside? It is always wise to leave the stuff you started with untouched. Therefore modifying you also must change the name. A wise way to do so is to put your name in front in this way: csdenmark-SAYC. Then your personal collection of modified files will always be at the same place - easy to find. You modify a card by clicking 'Edit' in the menu 'Settings'. If you want to enter interference handle you disable 'Constructive'. Your card must be in your favorite folder. There is nothing more to do. Just enjoy your preferences.
