Califdude
I see messages on BBO that someone is leaving to play in a tournament. How do you enter and play in a BBO tournament? Is there a schedule of tournaments starting tmes available? Are tournaments graduated as to skill level? I have not been able to find out anything about BBO tournament play by browsing through the various links on BBO homepage...if I missed it, pls forgive me. Thanks for your replies. inquiry
From the main lobby, click the "watch or play bridge" option. On the next page, click "All tournaments" or "Free tournaments" or "ACBL tournaments" or "BBO Masterpoint tournaments" or "Robot race and Money Bridge Tournaments" (all the yellow ones except "team games") Skip over tournaments in progress and completed tournaments to tournaments in next hour or tournaments starting later... find tournament you are interested in. Click on it. If it is an individual, you can click the "registration" button and you will be registered. If it is pairs, you will need a partners name when you try to register. There is a registration desk where you can try to pick a partner, or register yourself. Note, not all tournaments are free. You have to purchase BBO Dollars to play in many. Try the "free tournament" button at least at first until you learn how it all works. The red HELP button on the bottom right of the screen will provide more information. Good luck.
